Routine Business: Turning Jamf Signals into ServiceNow Actions
Jamf administrators collect vast amounts of valuable signal, but translating that signal into timely, actionable IT response often breaks down at the operational layer. Jamf Routines bridges that gap by allowing teams to automate decisions and actions based on real-world device state — without custom code, brittle scripts or external orchestration tools. In this session, we’ll introduce Jamf Routines and show how it can be integrated directly with ServiceNow to automatically create tickets when devices drift, age out, or exhibit security risk and how to design workflows that reduce noise while improving response time. Using real enterprise use cases — including battery health failures, stale devices, pre compliance user awareness, and Jamf Protect detections — attendees will walk away with a practical framework for converting Apple fleet intelligence into meaningful operational outcomes.
