In this joint session, Travis County and NowSecure will share how they built and scaled a mobile app technology assessment program that materially reduced risk and approval timelines for a large public-sector environment. Attendees will learn how Travis County replaced a weeks-long approval process with a streamlined workflow using NowSecure reports, enabling faster, evidence-based decisions with fewer surprises. We’ll walk through Travis County’s end‑to‑end intake and review process, highlight real metrics and lessons learned from assessing government mobile apps, and then unpack what’s actually inside the NowSecure reports—how the tests work, what signals and risks they surface beyond simple high/medium/low scores, and how security, legal, and compliance teams use those insights to protect sensitive data while still saying “yes” to the right apps.
