This session is the first-person account of how that starting point grew into a multi-school scholar iPad pilot, and then into a fleet-wide deployment across 61 campuses in a large K-12 charter network. We will cover the architectural decisions, the identity gaps that forced mid-flight pivots and the lessons that surfaced when devices reached real classrooms, including what the pilot revealed that changed how we approached the full rollout. Attendees will get a candid look at what it actually takes to move an entire organization off Chromebooks, from proof of concept to production at scale. We will also examine how technical teams can avoid shipping "well-managed boxes" that leave educators stranded, and why pedagogical handoff has to be part of the deployment plan from day one.

In this session, we'll show K-12 IT admins how Jamf Teacher, Jamf Student and Jamf Parent work together to create a seamless device experience that adapts as students move from the classroom to the kitchen table. You'll learn how to configure take-home device programs that give parents meaningful control, students the right level of autonomy and IT the oversight needed to keep district policies intact, without generating a single help desk ticket. We'll also tackle the tough stakeholder conversations head-on, giving you the talking points to build buy-in from parents, teachers and school boards alike.
