Apple's own security story is one of layers: chip architecture, cryptographically signed OS volumes, Gatekeeper, XProtect, developer app signing and sandboxing. Jamf's management and security solutions build on that foundation to both extend the native security of Apple devices and provide assurances to admins about the status of their fleets. This session will go layer by layer - starting with the literal silicon, ending with Jamf Protect and Jamf Executive Threat Protection, to explain how each component stacks up to a cohesive security solution for Mac and mobile.
