This session introduces the motivation behind and future direction of Configuration Profiles 3.0—a revolutionary new Blueprint component and a key advancement in modern MDM. This solution builds on familiar tools like MDM configuration profiles and combines them with new capabilities such as declarative management and Blueprints. Designed to address some of the biggest challenges faced by Mac admins, Configuration Profiles 3.0 enables a faster, more efficient “sooner than same-day” approach to device management. As one of Jamf’s bottom-up innovations, this project has evolved into a core part of our Modern MDM strategy. Led by the project’s founder and tech lead, this session offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Configuration Profiles 3.0 came to be, what it means for the future of device management, and how all customer segments can benefit by adopting this new approach.
